Book Launching “They Are Talking About Mega”
Jakarta, 12th December 2008

Megawati Soekarnoputri, the president candidate from PDI Perjuangan, very realizes with the negative risk if her vice president candidate keeping a big obsession to be a president. It is not impossible that if it is happened it will create a competition that is contra productive for government performance. Therefore, besides having high commitment toward NKRI, Pancasila, Pluralism, and adding ballot potential, Mega hopes that her vice president candidate has not the person who will be her rival in the government.

"Awas lho, aku emoh wapresku mikir de'e presiden (I do not want that my vice president candidate thinking that he/she will be the president)," Mega said on book launching Mereka Bicara Mega (They Are Talking About Mega) at Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, 12 December 2008.

Book launching was start from at 2.30pm WIB. There are some figures who have been declare as the president candidate for 2009 election came on that launching like Sri Sultan HB X, Fadel Muhammad, Rizal Ramli, and Fadjroel Rahman. Also attend Bursah Zarnubi, Yudi Latief, Sukardi Rinakit, Garin Nugroho, Ikrar Nusa Bakti, dan Effendy Gozali, Chairman of Dewan Pertimbangan Pusat (Deperpu) DPP PDI Perjuangan Taufik Kiemas and PramonoAnung.

The book “They Are Talking about Mega” is containing 38 articles from national leaders from various backgrounds like Ahmad Syafii Ma'arif, Akbar Tandjung, Amien Rais, Prabowo Subianto, Salahuddin Wahid, Jalaludin Rahmat, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Alwi Shihab, Rokhmin Dahuri, Ahmad Sumargono, and Malik Fadjar. Hasyim Muzadi and Din Syamsuddin give their comments on its forewords.
