of Bung Karno’s Birthday.
JAKARTA – The Big Family of Bung Karno reunions again. They commemorate the 106th birthday of Bung Karno which is fall on 6th June 2007. That is the second meeting in this week. Before it, on Last 1st June 2007, they met at the commemoration of Pancasila’s birthday.
The commemoration of Bung Karno’s birthday that centered at Tugu Proklamasi is attended by Guntur, Sukmawati, and Guruh Soekarnoputra. Rachmawati is not seen because she is busy with her job as Wantimpres (Presidential Judgment Council). Megawati is still at NTT.
Guruh who is speaking on behalf of chairman of Bung Karno Foundation explain about the destiny of Pancasila as the manifestation of Bung Karno’s ideas. He values that the awareness of Indonesian society on Pancasila actually can make us happy. But, he feels apprehensive because there are contradictions on attitude between upper stream, lower stream and elite in implementing substantive of Pancasila.
"While on the field, the regional officials is trying to return Pancasila’s characters, the central officials has no concern on the implementation of Pancasila," he said in Jakarta yesterday.
Guruh admits, there is a systematic effort to ruin the Pancasila. Even, he catch that there is a character assassination to who was bear of Pancasila .
